Corporate Counselling

Corporate counselling (and psychotherapy services) can be provided on a one-off, case by case basis or as a programme of attendance by counsellors, either at the client site or off site, as part of a wider EAP facility.

All corporate counsellors and psychotherapists provided by 3CCCs are registered with their relevant national regulatory body. For counsellors this tends to be the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) or, more usually for psychotherapists, the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy).

Both of these regulatory bodies require that practitioners maintain a programme of CPD (Continuous Professional Development) and undertake regular supervisory review of their case load. Additionally there is a requirement to maintain professional indemnity insurance and the bodies themselves provide a formal complaints procedure in addition to that of 3CCCs.

Counselling is helpful to the individual in resolving issues which may be limiting their performance and their ability to both fully contribute and to maintain their own work/life balance. On occasions however, at the end of counselling, the individual can often feel that they have been left by the employer to "get on" with things again now that they are "OK".

This can lead to the individual feeling unsupported and somewhat daunted by new challenges and that is why we at 3CCCs, where appropriate, can also provide coaching support to help the individual move forward in integrating their new understandings into their continuing career and to be fully effective more quickly.

3CCCs' Director of Counselling Services, David Dove, is himself a UKCP registered Psychotherapist and he will welcome the opportunity to discuss your corporate requirements, large or small.
